QR74 Coupling
QR74 couplings are fire rated, valved, quick release couplinga. Rugged in design and suitable for a broad variety of heavy duty applications, for use with most industrial fluids.
Primarily designed in conjunction with Fireshield 5000 hose for use in offshore environments where in the event in the event of an emergency, equipment is required to operate under fire conditions.
Fire Rated by Lloyds Register of Shipping to 700ºC.
The QR74 coupling is available in both hex nut and wing nut options. The hex nut style used in places where space is limited and the wing nut type for ease of connection.
Available in the following sizes: 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1.1/4”, 1.1/2” and 2”with female NPT threaded connections (others threads available on request).
Materials: Carbon or Stainless Steel.
QR74 Coupling
Operation:
Connection and disconnection is achieved by simply screwing the two coupling halves together, which opens/closed the internal valve arrangement.
