General Information
Construction
The Salamander range of floating hose is designed to transfer media between supply vessels and fixed platforms.
Integral buoyancy layers eliminate the need for "tie on" flotation collars are meet OCIMF reserve buoyancy requirements, preventing the hose from sinking below the surface and impeding the supply vessel operation.
Construction wise the hoses are identical to the standard hardwall PW, DO, BM and LM hose ranges with additional buoyancy layers and outer cover.

Fireshield Fuel and Oil Suction and Delivery Hose
DO16FHR hose has been developed for suction/delivery of fuel/oil in high risk areas (also suitable for seawater, mud and other typical offshore duties).
Construction
- Tube: Black NBR.
- Reinforcement: High tensile textile cords with embedded Steel Helix and Antistatic Wires.
- Cover: Black CR, abrasion, ozone and hydrocarbon resistant over layers of heat resistant fibre.
Fire Rating: Lloyds Approved At 700Deg C for 30 minutes
